My initial response to this product was shock, surprise and discomfort. The
concept of seeing one's menstrual blood in liquid form seemed rather alien
after years of tampons, tissues, sponges etc. Now after using a menstrual
cup for two years I look at 'regular' sanitary products with an element of
distaste and find using the cup meets all my requirements in terms of being
efficient and practical but in addition is also economical and
